Being a town in the Southern Andaman Coast of Thailand, Trang is a land of isolated beach, tropical islands, emerald water and towering cliffs. Travel to this region and have leisure time of viewing untouched natural beauty, hospitable inhabitants, appetizing food and heavenly white sand.

Trang possesses a long coastal line of approximately 119 kilometers. The archipelago in the Andaman Sea with over 46 islands also belongs to this province. Due to the location on the same line of historical settlements, Trang shares the same traditions and heritage with Krabi, Phang Nga and Ranong. The province consists of six districts which can be reached in two main routes: the land and the sea. This province was once a port involved in foreign trade. It was even the first place where rubber was placed in the ground. Nowadays, rubber is considered as a significant commodity of the whole country.

Located next to Indian Ocean, Trang has monsoon all over the year which results in a lot of rainfall. Just like the rest south of Thailand, Trang contains two main seasons as well: the rainy season and the hot season. The best time for a sea travel is during October to May. This land is home to numerous attractive islands, while the higher region is home to spectacular waterfalls, caves and untouched tropical forest. You can even see between the mountains and the coastal line widespread plantations of rubber.

Coming to Trang, you will find it sensibly solid. The best way to exploring is to hire a tuk tuk or take a blue bus. In Trang, there are four main destinations: the gorgeous beaches in Sikao District, Huay Yod, Samran Beach and the ancient town in Kantang District. For those who love islands, visit some popular piers such as Pak Meng, Ban Chao Mai, and Kuan Thung Kuu. Besides, take pleasure in setting foot on old Buddhist Temples hidden in caves, the rain forest, and the refreshing pools in waterfalls.
